Had an excellent IFR flight to the eclipse totality with Liz Payne today in the experimental Mustang II. Most of these photos were taken by her. (Thank you Liz!) Never saw another airplane- but heard many on the radio. The Memphis Air Route Traffic Control Center did an outstanding job! Just as totality approached he offered: "7 Romeo Hotel, just maneuver how ever you want, I'll try to keep the VFR guys away from you." It was really cool being in the darkness, but we could see the bright twilight about 35 miles away all around us. Tim Henry provided us with his homemade dual ADS-B receiver to see traffic and weather on the iPad.
