We were driving from Maryland to Vero Beach Florida the day President Carter was inaugurated. As we drove separately in my '69 Dodge Dart Swinger and her '72 Chevrolet Vega that's all we remember we could get on our AM radios. We moved into a nice apartment on a canal. In July we traded my Dodge for a brand-new Camaro. Rent was $250/mo. Pay was $6/hr. or about $1,000/mo.
