Linda, my Dad and I flew to Frankfurt, Germany on World Airways and then drove behind the "Iron Curtain" to spend a few days with our distant relatives the Breuers in Dresden, East Germany. (Dates approximate). We left 11 month old Timmy with Mike and Marion Frentz in Virginia.

Received refresher training in the Dash 7. Back to flying it full time on 6/24/1982.

Received my Airframe & Powerplant certificate in Philadelphia.

Air Florida "Palm 90" crashed on takeoff from DCA as I was in flight from Dulles to PHL. The next day 1/14, Vince Pischl and I were in DCA and we walked to the crash site on the Potomac River. (Not my photo)
