As a brand-new Private Pilot (48 hours Total Time!) I flew my high school World History teacher Mr. Holmes Clay and his mother from Baltimore to Evansville, IN. This was an epic flight for me, 7.8 hours and my first time to leave the Eastern Time Zone. I returned on 10/17.

At age 17 and two days received my Private Pilot certificate in C-150 N1572Q. Total Time= 41.6 hours. Examiner was Fritz Klipa.

Flew solo for the first time - in C-150 N2942J at the Bay Bridge airport in Maryland.

I was introduced to Linda Susan Claus by mutual friend Debbie Carnes. Debbie essentially ‘set us up’ telling Linda that I was interested in her and vice-versa, which wasn’t true (since we didn’t even know of each other). I joke that ‘our entire relationship is based on a lie’. Linda lived at 5429 Montbel Ave
