I started working for Phil Gardner flying for Security Airways and Freight Express ("SAFE, Inc.") flying the Piper Navajo primarily as co-pilot flying NSA material for the Army although I had a PIC checkride on 10/6 to satisfy the military requirements. Excellent multi-engine and instrument experience. The Captain was Steve Wigley. Pay was $125/week working Tuesday thru Friday.
Baltimore Airways

Passed my FAA Part 135 (Charter) checkride in a Piper Cherokee Six N56650 given by Bill Hensley. Started flying for Baltimore Airways. I worked virtually every day for $100/week. The cargo was dead bodies (with or without caskets), radioactive pharmaceuticals, kidneys, cancer patients and other medical cargo.

Received my Seaplane Rating (single-engine) at Jack Brown's Seaplane Base in Winter Haven, FL. Examiner was Jack Brown. Total Time= 953.1
Linda comes to Daytona to work

(date approximate) Linda got a job in Flight Records at ERAU. I worked there as CFI while I was finishing up my degree. We departed Daytona in late August and headed back to Baltimore.
